Zoe Stoyer was the best mother a girl could have. For Ashton she meant everything. "My mom was my heart and my soul. When I lost her, I lost everything including myself. I wrote "Fast Asleep" one night after a vivid dream about my mother. I remember waking up crying because I desperately wanted to go back to sleep to be with her again. I hated the fact that the only place I could ever see her again was in my dreams... fast asleep."

"Inside Of My Mind",  was inspired by the TV show "Bates Motel." Being a huge fan of the show Ashton says it was only a matter of time before she would write a song about it. Even though the song is based on the relationship between Norman and his former teacher Miss Watson, Ashton says " It also goes along with the relationship between Norman and his mother, Norma. Even though he hasn't killed her yet in the show we know it is going to happen soon. I just find Norman's relationships odd, so I had to write about it."
